The San Francisco Standard is seeking a Fall/Winter 2025 social media intern to create engaging content across all of our channels. As an intern, you will adapt stories from the newsroom to run on our social channels as well as find or create platform-native posts that suit our voice and audience . The successful candidate will identify unique ways to showcase our reporting and to highlight San Francisco. Our social interns relish not only being chronically online but also getting out of the office and capturing what’s happening in the city. This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter who loves the thrill of sharing stories and engaging with readers.
We are looking for interns who have at least one prior internship in a professional newsroom or on a social or marketing team and come with strong recommendations from references familiar with their skills.
